Review : Start with Why by Simon Sinek
Start with Why is a book that explores the importance of having a clear purpose and understanding why one is doing something. Sinek argues that successful organizations have a clear understanding of why they exist and are motivated by a purpose that goes beyond simply making money. He calls this the "Golden Circle" and it consists of three components: Why, How, and What. He argues that organizations that start with Why (their purpose) and work their way outwards to How (their unique approach) and What (their product or service) are more likely to be successful than those that start with What and work their way inwards.
Sinek cites numerous examples from history, business, and personal life to illustrate his points and provide concrete evidence for his ideas. He argues that successful leaders and organizations, such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Apple, have a clear sense of purpose that inspires and motivates others to follow them.
Overall, Start with Why is a well-written and engaging book that provides an insightful perspective on the importance of purpose in personal and professional life. It is recommended for anyone looking to improve their leadership skills, better understand the importance of purpose, and gain a deeper appreciation for the power of Why.
